Garret was inspired early on in life by his father and grandfather to pursue a career as a financial advisor after watching how a career in finance allows for impacting clients by giving clarity and the ability to reach their goals and dreams. As an advisor, he values mutual trust and transparency in his client relationships. Garret’s clients have strong family values and want to provide the best lives possible for their family members. To help them achieve this, his strategy involves creating long-term relationships by educating his clients on being efficient and effective with their finances to reduce financial anxiety while developing a comprehensive strategy based on their current financial situation and future goals. Garret is able to provide his clients with further learning opportunities through their team-based, long-term approach. He hosts educational lunch or dinner seminars throughout the year in Florida, Minnesota, and Wisconsin, notably at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine, UF Health Jacksonville, the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh CRNA program and various other locations. Additionally, he is a supporting sponsor of the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association (MVMA). Growing up in Miami, FL, Garret moved to the Twin Cities area following his college graduation and 2 years of playing professional football in Europe. Outside of work, Garret is involved with local sports leagues (flag football, softball and kickball), the Board of Directors for The Phoenix Residence, and the UST Young Alumni Board. His hobbies include traveling, playing with his puppy, Summit, being active, playing sports, and spending time at the cabin in the summer.
