I took financial planning classes at Iowa State, I worked at a bank as a teller, then at a credit union as an Americorps VISTA Volunteer developing a product and education to help low-income members save. For the past 12 years, I have worked in a financial planning office getting the behind the scenes view of the planning process. I also earned the Certified Financial Planner™ designation.
